BLS FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CERTIFICATION
This course goes into greater nuance in regards to CPR fundamentals benefiting Healthcare providers, Teachers, Coaches, Daycare providers, and those who work in a higher-risk environments.
HEARTSAVER® FIRST AID, CPR & AED
Skills covered in this course include First Aid, Choking relief in adults, children, and infants; with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, and what to do for sudden Cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants.
HEARTSAVER® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Including: childcare workers, teachers, camp counselors, etc.
Heartsaver® for K-12 Schools
This Heartsaver® for K-12 CPR AED Course prepares students to render first aid, perform CPR, and use an AED, especially in school settings.
AHA BLS INSTRUCTOR COURSE
The American Heart Association BLS Instructor Course certifies the participant to teach the BLS Course, renewal course, and BLS Skill Sessions. Instructors may teach all the AHA Heartsaver programs including: adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR, AED use, first aid, pediatric CPR/first aid, and bloodborne pathogens.
Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogen
The AHA Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course is designed for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as: Correctional Officers, Childcare workers, Security guards, Maintenance workers, School personnel, Hotel housekeepers, Health and fitness club staff, and Tattoo artists.
How to claim your eCard via SMS text
- Ensure your Instructor or Training Center has entered your mobile number into the eCards system.
- Opt-In: 48 hours after class completion, text “eCard” to 51736.
- If your number is in the system, you’ll receive instructions via text on how to claim your eCard.
- If your number isn’t in the system, you’ll receive a message indicating it wasn’t found.

VFIS HIGHWAY SAFETY CERTIFICATION
VFIS Highway Safety Certification helps educate emergency responders on best practices for safe operations while working on highways, including proper vehicle positioning, scene management, and personal protective equipment usage, to minimize risks of accidents when responding to incidents on roadways;
VFIS PATIENT HANDLING CERTIFICATION
VFIS Patient Handling Certification focuses on proper techniques for safely lifting, moving, and transporting patients in emergency situations, aiming to prevent injuries to both the patient and the responder, particularly when dealing with bariatric patients or challenging scenarios; providing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills assessment.
All of our classes are conveniently accessible to take on-line to suit your schedule.
Once you conclude the on-line portion, bring your certificate to one of our training sites, or we can come to you to test your ability and knowledge for exercise and talent verification. LaMsCPR can issue your certification card the same day!
